He spoke on Daniel and his Confrontations with Kings applying the importance of standing for
Christ as young people even when the stakes seem high. We want to promote an understanding of
the fundamental principles of 'the faith that was
once for all committed to the saints' (Jude 3), in order that we might 'grow in the grace
and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ' (2 Peter 3.18). Our desire is that this
conference will encourage obedience to God's word, and equip a younger generation in God's
kingdom to serve Him more faithfully by giving us a firm grasp on the practical implications
of what we believe.
We also want this conference to promote true fellowship among like-minded young people,
that they might stir each other up to good works (Hebrews 10.24), motivate one another to
love and obedience (Proverbs 27.17), and promote holiness of life by example (Titus 2.7) and
mutual encouragement (2Timothy 2.22).
We trust that, by God's grace, those who attend will return to their home churches looking
to Christ in faith, with a zeal which is according to knowledge, fully determined 'to
continue in the things which they have learned and been assured of' (2 Timothy 3.14). The conference is for young people between the ages of 15 and 30 years. The cost is £7.50 per person. If you are interested please email us and we can add you to our distribution list.
