These series of questions and answers are designed to give an idea of what we believe as a church. We will be using the bible as the basis for all the answers given. We believe that all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:36.
Our confession of faith which summarises what we essentially believe states The Holy scripture is the only sufficient, certain and infallible rule of all saving knowledge, faith and obedience (The London Baptist Confession of faith of 1689 Chapter 1).
Question: How did we get here?
Answer: We are all here because we have been created by God, Adam and Eve being our first parents.
Question: So did I not evolve or are we not all the product of evolution.?
Answer : No. The bible says in Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female created he them.
Question: Is there a purpose for me being here?
Answer: Yes. To seek the lord “ So that they should seek the Lord” Acts 17:27
What else does the bible say?
”Let us here the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man .For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God 1 Corinthians 10:31
